There are two types of lash extensions, flare lashes and individual. Many people think that there is no difference between an eyelash extension and false eyelashes\ cluster\flairs. They think that the two achieve similar results and look similar. The function of the two is the same by giving lashes a fuller look, thus opening the eye. The results vary and the manner in which the goal is accomplished is different. In fact, when one views the results of both products side-by-side, there is no comparison; the individual eyelash extension is much more natural and better looking. Although Flares or Clusters are another alternative for eyelash extensions, lasting from 1 to 2 weeks, it is a great choice for a special occasion. The application is very quick and price is more affordable.
For individual extensions, we use extensions glued to your own lashes with pharmaceutical platinum bond glue. This lash by lash process extends the length and thickness of your lashes while still maintaining a beautiful, natural look that can last up to 2 months. The extensions come in different lengths and thickness (6mm to 14mm) and can be customized to your own taste of dramatic, mascara look or just natural. Another great option to enhance your lashes is the lash lift. A lash lift curls your lash from base to tip so that you can see the full length. Unlike a lash extension, a lash lift simply alters the shape and color of your natural lashes. The treatment involves “boosting and lifting each individual lash, before tinting them for thicker, darker, longer looking lashes. Depending on the length and quality of your natural lashes, the lift can last for 6 to 8 weeks. Aftercare Do not let water touch lashes for 24 hours. After 24 hours you can swim, steam, or sauna; live you life to its full potential. Stay away from 2 ingredients- glycol and carbonate- mostly found in mascara and makeup remover. These ingredients loosen the bond that holds the extensions to the lashes. Touch ups are needed every 2 to 4 weeks depending upon your regrowth cycle.
