I was looking for a hair and make up artist for my wedding. My friend recommended Dilshad to me. At first I was a little bit concerned as I am a Russian bride and my friend is Indian (though she had absolutely beautiful make up at her wedding). Dilshad did a try out and then I came back for my wedding make up and for my reception make up (I had it on two different dates and one was in the morning, one in the evening). She and her assistant styled my hair and did my make up (along with 4 other ladies in my bridal party). Fast, professional, and most importantly, soooo beautiful! We all loved it! And received so many compliments! She also did my eye brow and upper lip threading – very fast, virtually painless, very clean.Her assistant helped us with the dresses, and overall, despite the natural stress of the event, we all felt very relaxed and really enjoyed it! I would recommend Dilshad, not only as an eye brow professional, but as a make up and hair stylist. You will not be disappointed! She knows what she is doing and does it with a great sense of style and taste, fast and efficient!

I first went to Dilshad when I was looking for a stylist for my engagement party. I had already tried a few stylist and was not keen on any of them. I immediately liked Dilshad because she put me at ease right away and was very receptive to the suggestions I had about my look. In the past I worked as a professional make up artist for a few well known beauty salons in NYC, so at first, naturally I wanted to do my make up myself, but my daughter insisted I will have many things to do on that day and this is one thing I should not worry about.
